An ultrasound is a non-invasive, diagnostic tool that utilizes high frequency sound waves to create images used to aid in diagnosis. Her skilled sonographer provides diagnostic tests in a warm, caring environment.

An obstetric ultrasound serves as a way to help your provider in monitoring the progress of your pregnancy.  As your pregnancy progresses, ob ultrasound is utilized to screen for some detectable fetal anomalies and to follow your baby’s growth and well-being. An early ultrasound scan can help to determine your due date. Dr. Tate can also refer you at times to Denver Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists in  consultation for ultrasound services during your pregnancy.

A gynecologic ultrasound can examine the anatomy of the cervix, uterus, ovaries and can help Dr. Tate diagnose problems.
